If you missed the WIP and therefore missed my mini-story hour, I'll recap for you:


"This pic NEEDS an explanation...

Okay...this takes place after what I call "Absolute Turmoil" which is the story that not only introduces Miriam to the SK, but revolves around Turmoil breaking out of jail with the help of Miles Phillips, Miriam's ex-KBI partner.

In this "episode" the Pastmaster is back and he has discovered that in the ancient city of Katlantis there was a crystal power source that will amplify the powers in his "Tome of Time". He will use this so he can revert time itself, plunging the world into the dark ages!!

However, there is only one kat who learned of the final resting place of Katlantis and that kat is Miriam's late husband, Dr. Arthur Lynx! In order to learn what he knows, the Pastmaster RESURRECTS Miriam's late husband turning him into a walking corpse!

However, Dr. Lynx needs an artifact that he found shortly before his debilitating disease robbed him of his ability to go on archaeological digs. He breaks into the Megakat city museum in order to find it, but comes up empty-handed.

Angered, The Pastmaster rages about the crystal and Dr. Lynx, having been brought back from the dead by nefarious magic, has lost much of his good-natured self. Dr. Lynx is the dark minion of the Pastmaster! Dr. Lynx tells the Pastmaster that he KNOWS where and WHO has the artifact...his wife, Miriam! The two depart for the home of Dr. Lynx.

Back at the museum, Dr. Abby Sinian, Callie Briggs, The SWAT Kats and Miriam (all of whom were brought together fighting various creatures that the Pastmaster conjured up) are trying to figure out what the Pastmaster is up to as he seems to be sending various creatures to attack the city only as a distraction.

Finding that the museum has been burglarized, the group watch in horror as the undead Dr. Lynx prowls the halls on the security video tape! Miriam is distraught. She is to the point where she breaks down and runs to the nearest bathroom to vomit. When she emerges, she proclaims that she is sitting this adventure out. "I'm sorry...I-I just can't deal with this..."

The group understands and Dr. Sinian offers to take Miriam home, to which Miriam states, that she'd rather be with her mom and dad.

"Are you going to be alright, Ms. Lynx?" T-Bone asked softly.

Miriam pauses in the threshold and turns to the burly kat. Craning her neck to meet his eyes, Miriam draws in a deep, shuddering breath, trying desperately to contain the storm of emotion that thundered behind her eyes strained with tears, "Our fair metropolis is under attack from various creatures found within the paleolithic and dark ages, the Pastmaster is involved somehow and now I find that my late husband is walking around Megakat city by some unholy reason that at this point is beyond anything that I can dream up in my worst nightmare...what do you think?" Miriam's gaze shot to the floor and after another breath, she turned on her heel and followed Dr. Sinian out of the office.

"I guess you can take that as a 'no', eh T-Bone?" Razor stated.

SOOO ANYway!

Dr. Sinian drops Miriam off at her parents house and her mother, seeing how upset her daughter was, actually administered a sedative in Miri's warm milk so her daughter could rest.

Well, that really wasn't a great idea as the SWAT Kats later learn that Miriam might know what her late husband was working on before he passed away and therefore she would know what the Pastmaster was after!

So, the SWAT Kats pop in on the Boots family residence and explain the situation. Miriam's mother is NONE too thrilled and outrightly refuses the SWAT Kats access to her daughter! "She has been through far too much today! I will not put her in further harm! Do you have any idea what it was like for her to bury her husband?! I will NOT have her go through that again!"

However, it was the intervention of Miriam's father, Chien Boots who stated that if the SWAT Kats don't wake Miriam and get the information they need, Miriam will go through a lot worse because there will be NO MEGAKAT CITY!

SOOOO, this picture is when the guys have taken Miri out of her bed and are bringing her to the Turbokat in order to bring her to Enforcer HQ where Dr. Konway will administer a counter sedative.

So, you're looking at Miriam's mother pleading with the SK to be careful with her daughter because the Pastmaster is in town and her late son-in-law is somehow walking the streets of Megakat city.

T-Bone is politely telling Mrs. Boots that he is WELL aware of the problem in Megakat city and Razor is kindly explaining that Miriam might have the answer that will save the city...
