Okay, you know you're getting old when...
Questionable
Alrighty...I know I'm like, within SPITTING distance of the big 30, but I realized today that I'm getting old. Now I know you're like, "Misty, 30 isn't old!!!"
But I say it is. Why? Because I'm getting crankier in my "old age" LOL! I'm seriously at a point in my life where I don't give a crap if people like me or not. It's kind of freeing really....
Most of my young adulthood was spent fretting over if he liked me or if she liked me, did I make so-and-so mad? How can I get people to like me so I'm not the proverbial outcast all the time....
Yeah, it was an exhausting existence to say the least. Now, I'm like, "Meh....I don't care."
Let me explain:
Last night over dinner, Chris was telling me about a co-worker of his in the parts department that literally ate his lunch without his permission. What bugged him was the guy LIED about it and the next day threw it in his face like, "I had a great FREE lunch! heh heh!"
Now that made me mad 'cause a lot of my money goes into keeping our cupboards stocked with food and being a working girl who's on a serious budget, it made me mad that the hard-earned money I spent was gobbled up NOT by my boyfriend (to which the food was intended) but to some schmuck who thought it was funny to steal someone else's lunch!
Soooo, today when I came into work I called that guy over. I said, "Patrick! You OWE ME $2.50!!!" ( the sandwich that I bought Chris was one of those yummy Oscar Meyer Deli sandwiches that you put in the microwave....it was on sale... two for five bucks!). So he said to me, "What?"
I said it again, "You owe me two-fifty! I spent the money I earn to feed myself and my boyfriend! Not some cheap-ass who thought it would be funny to eat my boyfriend's lunch! Next time, if you're that desperate, go to the damned grocery store yourself!"
Sure enough, he gave me my two-fifty!
Yeah, I don't care if people like me or not anymore. I really don't. LOL! I mean, I still try to be nice...but don't be a jack ass 'cause you'll be asking for it...So yeah! I'll probably put of some more "color" pics (like my "Sonny in Blue" and "Mitch in Red"). While my....erm..."aunt flo" is in town...I've been feeling rather crappy...but these types of pics make me smile a bit.
So yeah! Anyhoos, I'd better be off! I have to make dinner for Chris and his dad. I'm making beef stew (which has been simmering in the crock pot for about 8 hours now...YUM!) and home-made dinner rolls! YAY! However, the freakin' rolls have to "rise" for about an hour...so yeah!

Im only 18 and I feel old, look old (not really thow i hope not) and i have gray hairs, But i must be really old then because every one says I'm too cranky but my sister must be really old because shes always cranky and gets madder and madder by the day and shes only 15 Oo.
